Civics and Economics: NC SCOS:
Competency Goal 1 The learner will investigate the foundations of the American political system and explore basic values and principles of American democracy.
1.07 Evaluate the extent to which the Bill of Rights extended the Constitution.
Yesterday we finished the Constitution Scavenger Hunt but did not have time to look at the Constitution Test.
Today- We are going to spend the class period completing the test individually using textbook and notes. We will have this test tomorrow (Friday). Go Home and Study it!!!
Also, I have some students that have not completed the Amendments Sheet, I will give you the opportunity to finish this and any other missing work.
US History: NCSCOS Competency Goal 1
The New Nation (1789-1820) - The learner will identify, investigate, and assess the effectiveness of the institutions of the emerging republic.
1.03 Assess commercial and diplomatic relationships with Britain, France, and other nations.
Today- We will be completing Guided Reading 4. This will be the last day. We will then work on this test. You can use your notes and textbook on this mock test. Once students are finished with the test we will go over it and make sure all students have the correct answers.
The real test will be on Monday, and will look very similar to the test you have in your hand (hint, hint). The test will be on Chapter 4 in the America Visions Textbook.
The test will be Monday, as 2nd Period will not be meeting tomorrow.
During class, the Teacher will be walking around the room helping students with the assignment.

Remember: Tomorrow (Friday) is a half-day! Oktoberfest is this weekend, remember to have fun and be safe!
