Social Studies:
Social Studies 6th period 4/13/15
We took notes titled Civil Rights part 2 on the Civil Rights
Movements. We talked about the “Little Rock Nine”, Freedom Riders, Gov.
George Wallace, civil bill, and the March on Washington. We also watched
a few videos including Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech.
Then we wrote our own “I Have a Dream” speech using Dr. King’s style.
Science 3rd period
4/13/15
We took notes on Chapter 12 Section 1. How
diseases are transmitted to humans. We talked about infectious diseases,
pathogens, how pathogens spread, vectors, and the 4 main ways pathogens are
transmitted.
